The Best Free Online Resources to learn from during the Quarantine period

With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to spread rapidly and with many countries imposing lockdowns, now would be the correct time to learn some new skills that could be useful for the future. In this article, we have compiled a list of resources that can be used to learn useful technical skills for free.

1.Data Science:

Over the last few years, the need for data scientists has skyrocketed as companies look for people with data analytics skills to gather meaningful insight from their data to make data-driven business decisions. The role of a data scientist is a relatively new one, however going forward it does show a lot of promise as a report from Job seeking online portal,Indeed showed a 29% increase in demand for data scientists year over year and a 344% increase since 2013.

The Towards data science website is a great free resource to learn from, and is widely known in among data scientists as a great way to learn a particular technique or stay up to date with developments in the industry.

Another free online blog/website to learn about data science, this website is a great resource as it covers a diverse range of topics ,tutorials, datasets, news, events, jobs and webinars.

Kaggle is a subsidiary of Google LLC, is an online community of data scientists and machine learning practitioners. Kaggle is the world's largest data science community with powerful tools and resources to help you achieve your data science goals. It is one of the places data scientists spend a lot of time as they can find datasets, compete in challenges, share their work and even possibly get a job offer. Kaggle is just one of those websites you can not ignore if you're looking to be a data scientist.

Digital marketing is the component of marketing that utilises internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services.
