ONE PLUS 8 - First Impressions
One plus has just released its new flagship one plus 8 and is the most affordable smartphone in the latest series of flagships for the company. It offers flagship performance in a convenient box-something that will satisfy fans of small phones. Although compared to the OnePlus 8 Pro it is more affordable, the OnePlus 8 loses out on certain features such as wireless charging and water resistance. The OnePlus 8 is available in three colours: black onyx, green glacial and interstellar glow. It's available to buy on Amazon.in and the online store OnePlus.
OnePlus 8 has a 90Hz refresh rate, 6.55-inch fluid Amoled screen and a fullHD+ display. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole on the top left corner containing the phone's front camera. By default, the screen is set to render vivid colors but it can be tuned to use natural colors from settings. This is also an integrated display-calibration feature that helps you to configure the device to Amoled wide-color gamut, RGB and Display P3 – depending on your choice.
The OnePlus 8 has a triple-camera set-up on the rear, including a standard 48-megapixel sensor, an ultra-wide 16MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. The triple - camera array on the OnePlus 8 is the same as that of the OnePlus 7 T except for the absence of a telephoto lens. Yet the improvements in performance are huge and visible. With the night scape mode low light pictures are significantly better.
The best you can ever get!.The OnePlus 8 features the Snapdragon 865 processor, which promises better performance and efficiency over last year's model. Gaming as you can see gives us a top notch performance. PUBG ran at their highest graphics settings and were quite fun to play. OnePlus 8 enables 5 G networks, both stand-alone and non-standalone, and WiFi 6. Although both could not be tested at present, they make a future-ready smartphone that you may not need to upgrade to experience future connectivity benefits. It also has Bluetooth 5.1 and supports aptX & aptX HD, LDAC and AAC codecs. It also has stereo speakers with the help of Dolby Atmos.
The OnePlus 8 is powered by a 4300 mAh battery, which is perfect for a day of regular use but is short for medium and heavy use. Luckily, the phone comes with a Warp Charger 30 T, which will refill the phone's fully drained battery in about an hour.
The OnePlus 8 isn't perfect, and some who consider it too "lite" may find it disappointing compared to the powerful OnePlus 8 Pro. Thought of it this way, it is the OnePlus phones' iPhone 11 or Galaxy S20—meaning it's the one most people would purchase. It does not have the 8 Pro's all-and-the-kitchen-sink appeal, but it does have the features that matter the most.
